I love when grooms show their true feelings like this! The emotion captured by Erin Hornung Photography is worth more than 1000 words. He is just so precious...
...I also think he is marrying one gorgeous bride. No wonder he's so emotional! :D
Head on over to the Wedding Obsession to see the rest of this sweet vintage wedding!
I always love a fashionable foot, so I had Meredith of Benfield Photography send over her favorite shots of bridal shoes for all you AWS readers. Meredith noted that it's not just about the bride's shoes these days. Here's what she had to say, "I want to encourage grooms to really think outside the proverbial "shoe-box" and buy themselves a nice pair of dress shoes, instead of wearing rented tux shop shoes!" Thanks Mere, I couldn't agree more! I can't wait to see what great shoes she and her fiance, Dale wear for their own nuptials this spring. They're shoe people.
Grooms, in addition to that great pair of shoes you should find a fun pair of socks that reflect your personality. Brides, take note that you don't have to have a white or ivory shoes to match your dress. You should also feel free to express your personality and fantastic style!
I wish I could show you every single picture from this wedding! It makes me smile; it is casual and warm. S-W-E-E-T is the word I'm looking for here. From the bridesmaid dresses to the table numbers this wedding is gushing with an understated girliness (and a little DIY) that I simply adore!
Gentlemen: If you're not a bow tie guy, I'll just go ahead and forgive you now. I believe in them. I think they're smart. These gents really know how to pull off the tie. Don't you want to look smart, too?
Planning on DIY-ing your groomsmen's gifts? Here's an awesome and possibly budget friendly (depending on your taste in liquor) idea. It's a personalized drink box complete with mixing instructions. Wrap up the ingredients for your favorite drink (or each of your groomsmen's favorite) and have your bride-to-be help you make the boxes look nice and pretty.
If you're more likely to go out and buy your groomsmen gifts (which is totally normal, acceptable and wonderful....everyone doesn't have the DIY bug and I think that's okay), here are some fun and unique finds!
I rarely write for the men and yet I surprisingly have a few faithful men followers. To keep them coming back and to finally voice my opinion on men's fashion here are a few of my favorites for wedding events of all kinds.
. Engagement/Bachelor Party . Rehearsal Dinner . Casual/Relaxed Wedding .
No matter the atmosphere of your celebration or your taste in fashion, you can look and feel great (and have your lady think you look great, too) at all your wedding festivities!
