Unexpected Winter Inspiration Board

Happy December!

This is undoubtedly my favorite month of the year! I love spending time with my family and friends, giving gifts to people I cherish and celebrating the birth of my Savior!

I also think December is a sweet time to celebrate your new life with your significant other. If you can squeeze a wedding into the month of December (it's often very tricky scheduling venues and arranging the travel of loved ones, in addition to the expense of holiday travel), more power to you! If you live in a region with mild December weather, you could possibly have one of the most beautiful times of year to get married.

Here is an inspiration board that I've been working on for a couple of weeks now. Peach is an unexpected color for the holidays, but it makes me think of sweet champagne and celebrations! Combine the peach with white, gray and a little sparkle and you have an unstoppable combination.

Happy Planning and may God richly bless you this December!

Free Download Friday: Vintage Labels

It's a late Friday post, only to blame on my lazy day off! I ran across these sweet vintage labels from worldlabel.com on How About Orange. They would be adorable on a jar of homemade preserves as a wedding favor or for a gift basket for your neighbor! There is an easy autofill download to type in or you can print them out blank and write on them. You have 15 labels to choose from!

Cake balls from Wanda's
Homemade candies
Seed packets
Miniature Leaf Soaps from Uptown Soap Co
A homemade sachet pouch

Etsy Wedding Review: October Edition & Giveaway

Birds of a Feather

I really detest live birds. I think they're dirty and usually have bad attitudes! But oh how I love feathers, nests and birds when it comes to decor. My own personal home reflects this love. I've done some digging on Etsy this month and have uncovered really fabulous finds for your special day. I even found a fabric bouquet with feathers that is to die for. I want to buy it now and save it for my own wedding someday. (No, I won't actually do it....i understand that would be creepy.)

In addition to listing great finds this month, I've teamed up with Molly from Bobbi Jordan, for a fantastic jewelry giveaway! Bobbi Jordan is a noteworthy Etsy shop that I originally featured

Fall Fabulous Inspiration Board

I've been working on a very last minute wedding this week. It's crazy stressful to fine tune all the details in such a short amount of time! Before I head off to help another happy couple make it down the aisle, here's what I've been working on.

Billy Reid makes my heart swoon and I adore the Fall 2009 preview, the stores, the style. And I decided to use an adorable couple from the preview as a starting point for a fall inspiration board. I've never done one of these for the blog before, so here it goes...

Coincidence? I think not!

This beautiful wedding was posted the same day my Alyssa and Ryan got married! Thanks Jannah for sending it my way! I'm always looking for inspiration and this helped me start Friday with thoughts of these great images. I love how naturally elegant this bride is. As you scroll down through the pictures you will see a trunk of parasols. What a thoughtful gesture to extend to both your bridesmaids and your guests. No one wants to leave a wedding with a sunburn!
