I have always been a real "picture person," from when I used a disposable camera for 5th grade Photography Club to when I was in high school and got my first Canon Elph (pre-digital!) camera. (I thought Advantix film was so cool.) A couple of years ago, Mr. J upgraded me to my first D-SLR and I've been gobbling up info and tuning my skills ever since. I by no means consider myself a legit photographer, but when Mr. J's cousin and his absolutely darling fiancée asked me to take their engagement photos, I was surprised, flattered, and clearly much obliged. Here are a few slew of my favorites from our shoot in downtown Fredericksburg, Va. The happy couple's date is set for September 3, 2011.
